OPEN RING WORKSHOP

During the 'open ring workshop' you will create your own ring from silver wire and/or silver sheet. After a short discussion of your ideas you will be briefed on the different tools you'll be using. Then we'll start making! Because this workshop deals with an open form, the use of heat (soldering, melting, etc.) will not be part of this workshop.

The workshop will run for approx. 2h and can accommodate up to 5 participants. The material for one ring is included in the price of the workshop. If you create more than one piece, there will be an additional cost for material that will be paid separately. No previous knowledge is needed to take part in the workshop.

The workshop is held in German and/or English.

Im 'open ring workshop' habt ihr die Möglichkeit euren individuellen Ring aus Silberdraht und/oder -blech herzustellen. Nach einer kurzen Besprechung eurer Ideen oder Vorstellungen und einer kleinen Einführung in die Werkzeuge (Säge, Feile, Hammer, Zange, Prägestempel) arbeiten wir zusammen an der Umsetzung. Da es in diesem Workshop um die Herstellung einer offenen Ringform geht, ist die Arbeit mit Hitze (Löten, Schmelzen, etc.) nicht erforderlich.

Die Arbeitszeit beträgt ca. 2 Stunden, die maximale Anzahl an Teilnehmer:innen ist 5 und es sind keine Vorkenntnisse nötig. Das Material für einen Ring ist im Preis inklusive, falls mehrere Ringe hergestellt werden, können die weiteren Schmuckstücke extra abgerechnet werden.

Die Workshopsprache ist deutsch, nach Absprache kann er jedoch auch auf englisch gegeben werden.
